Wire is a metal product produced at drawing benches. It has a form of a thread or a cord.

Wires can have round cross-section, more rarely hexagonal, square, trapezoid and ellipse cross-section. In most cases round wire is used.

Wires have no coating, and are light or dark under agreement with the customer.

Wires can also be galvanized, of 1Ts or 2Ts class.

Wires can have diameter within the range of 0.16 to 10 mm (with no coating), or 0.2 to 6 mm (with coating). They are made of different grades of steel.

Wire is used for electrode production, electric cables, springs, steel ropes, meshes, nails, etc.

Wire is manufactured under GOSTs, specifications or international standards.
